Part IV: The Future, Iraq and The Economy
PART IV CAMP CASEY
THE FUTURE

I stand by with gallons of white paint and enough brushes and rollers for every man, woman and child who’ll join us in eradicating what the folks hereabouts may someday come to see as an obscenity and smear on the good name of Crawford…..

History will show:
We progressives owe Cindy and her friends a debt of gratitude for all the shouting at the Hydra when many of us were grappling with the feeling of powerlessness and 99% of our politicians squirmed and wormed.

Since Bush became President more then six million americans have fallen from middle class into poverty, while our wealthiest citizens have never had it so good.
For me preserving Camp Casey is about making sure that this piece of history, this symbol of speaking truth to power in a very physical way has a permananent steward. I am proud to be part of a grassroots movement that injects progressive dissident voices from a place in the heart of America that represents the belly of the beast. Crawford’s history will never be complete without remembering how Camp Casey began.
